Holcombe Flowage is a 2881 acre lake located in Chippewa County. It has a maximum depth of 62 feet and an average depth of 18 feet. The bottom ranges from muck to sand and gravel in shallower areas, with some pretty nice weed beds.
The Flowage connects with the Flambeau and Chippewa rivers from the northwest. The Jump River and Main Creek come in from the northeast. Pine Lake and Cranberry Lake are accessible from the flowage, and are good places to fish out of the main flow of boat traffic.
